They took the girls' small school title, finishing third overall in the meet, to Ridgewood and Passaic Tech. The team placed in eight out of 16 events, and won the long jump and pole vault relays. They deserved to come away with the win." It's their fourth win in a row and they've been working really hard in their careers. "I think everyone wanted to do it for the seniors. "We knew we had to run hard here, especially as the meet continued," said sophomore Veronica Dunphy, who ran in the 4-x-400 and Sprint Medley relays. Going into the last event, the 4-x-400 meter relay, the meet was close, a three-point gap between Cresskill and Ridgefield Park. The team is very young this year, but that didn't keep the girls from fighting for the title. It's really cool to see them after their fourth run here."
